Enthusiastic supporter of causes. As one of the many people that have been affected by addiction, I helped a small non-profit create a digital footprint. Their mission of helping those people who have been impacted, including the families of those in recovery, is one of the causes that I donate my time towards championing.
This was a great project.
In addition to highlighting the organization's services and providing a standard contact form, it managed a community calendar. This was displayed to site visitors and had events such as on-site meetings, sober group gatherings etc. One unique feature was the ability to request a ride. This was not a white label ride-share app, but a feature on the site where users could fill out a form and request pick-up and drop off. Integrations included Google maps for pre-filling the locations using current location, and MFA to confirm the request using Twilio.
